Cancellation policy.

We require a valid credit card to secure your appointment with Vita Psychiatry. This information ensures that any cancellations adhere to our policy and allows us to manage appointments effectively. Your credit card information is secure and confidential and you will only be charged if you fail to follow our policy rules below:

  1. You must attend your virtual appointment at the scheduled time that you have chosen. If you are late by more than 5 minutes this will be counted as a failure to attend. We strongly encourage all patients to log in 10 minutes prior to their appointment to ensure that you are on time and that your internet connection, camera and microphone are working, you are in a private space and that you are free of distraction.

  2. If you need to change or cancel your appointment time, we require a minimum of 24 hours notice

  3. You must provide your valid health card number that is not expired

Failure to meet any of the above criteria will result in a charge for the full cost of your appointment ($228.75 for a consultation or $184.40 for therapy) to the credit card that you have provided, following your scheduled appointment time.

Your credit card will not be charged so long as you attend your appointment and you have a valid health card.

If you are a therapy patient at Vita Psychiatry, please note that you are committing to the day and time that was scheduled. If you are not able to attend your scheduled appointments, you may email our team at admin@vitapsychiatry.com to see if there is a possibility of rescheduling. If there are not any available appointments to reschedule, you will be asked to attend your original appointment date and time,  otherwise, you are at risk of losing your weekly spot in our schedule. It is imperative that you attend each of your sessions for the full length of your scheduled sessions to avoid a cancellation fee.
